American Idol Group 1 Outcome..

So the performances for Group 1 was over and the results are out. I am not surprised with the outcome but am not sad about it too. America has chosen the right contestants to advance to the next round. However, after watching yesterday's performances I have to give credits to Tatiana DelToro.. She really surprised me as I thought she was just a bag of drama but turned out to be a good singer after all.. However, there were also dissapointments from Stevie Wright. I had high expectations on her but her performance last night was a far cry from what she had done during hollywood week. Tatiana being the drama queen had a moment to be herself *As usual* when Danny Gokey was announced the contestant to advance to the next round while she was not. I don't think the road will end for her just like that. I have a strong feeling that the judges will insert her into the "wild card" week were she will be summoned back to perform again. Anyway congratulations to ALEXIS GRACE, MICHAEL SARVER and DANNY GOKEY. I can't to watch Group 2 next week where there will be a whole new lot of drama going on with Norman Gentle in the scene.

And yes to people out there.. Especially to Mei Jean and Jonathan.. I have pierced my ear..Boohoo!!! "BIG DEAL"!!!! *Swt*

American Idol Mania

The madness of American Idol is back. It's the time of the year again where everyone will be glued to the idiot box to watch out for their favourite contestants. As always I am also a victim of this reality show and I have been watching this show since season 4. Eversince the show started, we have discovered very talented singers such as Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks and David Cook. In addition to that, not only the winners made it big even the cast offs have made it big in the music scene. To name a few such as Kellie Pickler, Justin Guarini, Jennifer Hudson, Katharine McPhee, Kristy Lee Cook, Clay Aiken and many more... After watching this show for 4 seasons now, I am quite surprised that I am still not tired of it. Maybe its because of the fact that most of the time I skip the Top 24 performances. O yeah, this year the have opted for something different there will no longer be top 24. Instead, the producers have increased the number to 36. I really hope this won't be long, draggy and boring.. Anyway, these are the few contestants of top 36 for this season whom made an impression on me both bad and good.. I hope those who are talented will make it to top 12 and rock the stage!!!.. Otherwise, be gone for good!! O yeah, do watch the first group in action tonight! :) Star World, Astro Channel 711

Von Smith also known for having a big voice.. Hmm.. Many people commented on his looks.. I think that will bring him forward to the next round,Unfortunately... :P

Taylor Vaifuana.. Ah ha, now I like this girl. At first,I thought she looked kinda weird but I grew to like her.. A contestant to look out for.. She reminds me of Jordin Sparks though...

Tatiana Del Toro.. Whoever watched Hollywood week will never forget her.. Well 3 words " I hate her" and 2 more " Drama Queen".. I think the judges desperately needed to increase the ratings for the show to include such a clown.. Singing Talent-wise.. Err.. Just Ok.

Stevie Wright... I liked her the second I saw her during the auditions. She looks like a nice person and of course great talent in singing.. Hmm.. I think she has a chance to make it to top 12...

Scott Macintyre.. He reminds me of Adrea Bocelli and I respect him for his determination. Despite having sight problems, he is able to play the piano and possesses a great voice. I think America will like him. It will be interesting to see him make it to top 12.. Hmm.. I am routing for you!!

Nick Mitchell.. After shufting down into my system that Tatiana girl.. here comes Nick Micthell.. Hmm.. he can sing.. but he needs to be more serious.. and you don't have to make it so obvious that you are gay. I respect you for who you are but I hope you will be more serious orelse you'll be in danger..

Nathaniel Marshall... I dunno what style you call this.. but despite having that kinda looks he can sing.. hahaha.. but he style is too gawdy to my liking..

Michael Sarver.. Okay.. I like people like him.. Simple and talented.. He doesn't look like a pop star but he is really talented.. Even all the judges liked him especially Paula.. He is the underdog of the show. I hope America will vote for talent more than looks alone.. and I have also learnt that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover..

Megan Cockrey.. Isn't she cute..?? Aaawww just look at her.. Haha. anyway this is another contestant to look out for.. With good looks and talent, you'll be surprised how well she will do in this show.. but it's too early to tell.. but she's cute!!!

Jesse Langseth.. I don't remember where was she from.. and how old is she again? Hmm.. she might just surprise us.. Everyone will say she looks old but I will not comment on her appearance.. She might just be the underdog of the show..

Jasmine Murray... If I am not wrong, she is doing this for her family.. To help improve their living environment.. I hope she will make it big though.. because she can sing as well.. Hmm...

Alexis Grace... I remember this girl for her pink hair.. She didn't make much of an impression until I watched her on the final day of Hollywood week.. and the reason why I like her is because she is a country artist.. I know I am being bias here.. but the truth is she has a great voice.. Watch out for this one too..

Alex Wagner... He looks nerdy and all but... Go nerds!!! Show the world that you'll are not only made of books and calculators!! Everyone is speculating about the judges' choice of choosing him over the other 'ghost movie guy'.. I think he has a better voice than the other guy and he reminds me of Clay Aiken..

Adam Lambert.. This guy really rocks!!! If I am not wrong he was the one who sang Disturbia.. I really liked his rendition of Disturbia.. This guy will definitely make it to Top 12.. Just watch him and you'll see how easily he advances from one stage to another..

Valentine's Day with her .. with them..

It was the time of the year again when love is in the air.. A day where love is commercialised and also a day when you spend happy moments with your loved ones. To me, it was a normal day but also a special day..How contradictive.. :S...It has been quite sometime since I saw her, both of us were busy with our own affairs in the month of January.. Then came February where she had her examinations. Nevertheless, we had the greatest time of our lives on that special day doing things both of us enjoy the most. Hmmm... We kicked off the day by having tea at the Chocolate Lounge,1 Utama where we had sweet treats and also exchanged valentines gifts with each other.. Then we proceeded to the arcade.. Initially, we wanted to watch a movie but thought it was too boring and stereotypic.. It's like what every couple will do on Valentine's Day.. So we got in touch with our childish side by paying a visit to the arcade.. Hahaha.. How much fun we had shooting monsters and banging the screen.. During that moment I was able to spend a lot of quality time with her.. Looking at her smile makes me smile too.. We were playing this game .. I forgot what it is called.. But basically you have to hit a flat plate into your opponent's goal.. and she hit it so hard that it flew off the table and hit the glass.. The expression on her face was something I wouldn't want to forget!! Then we took a couple of pictures .. Hahaha.. we were having a great laugh taking pictures of ourselves or it worse terms "Camwhoring!!" Hehehe.. Even the promoters whom were working there laughed at how she forced me to pose with the teddy bear.. It was quite embarrassing though, no doubt.. Haha.. For the finale, we had a double date with Lynn and Simon .. Lynn will be herself as usual but the combination was great where we had a great dinner and lots of laughter of course...

So I was watching the grammy's award for this year yesterday night and it was a great show! It was claimed to be the most prestigious music award show and winning a grammy meant something... The 2009 Grammy Awards, fighting a downtrend in viewership over the past couple of years, is trying to drum up interest for next year's edition with a novel approach. For the announcement of the 2009 Grammy Award nominations / nominees tonight, they have done away with the usually drab early morning show. In fact, what they're doing is the exact opposite, with top nominees revealed by invading prime time television with a concert-like show complete with live performances from potential nominees. Carrie Underwood who is my favourite singer blew us away with her hit song "Last Name" and I have to admit she looked super sexxxyyyyy that night.. Another favourite, the duet between Estelle and Kanye West in "American Boy" and Katy Perry too performed that night.. The other performers were Stevie Wonder, The Jonas Brothers, Lil' Wayne and lots more..

So how these artistes are nominated for the grammy's???

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and record companies are
responsible for entering into nomination the works that they deem most
deserving. Once a work is entered, reviewing sessions are held by over 150
experts from the recording industry. This is done only to determine whether or
not a work is eligible or entered into the proper category for official
nomination. The nomination process requires that members vote only in their
fields of expertise. They may nominate in the four general categories (Record of
the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist) and in no
more than nine out of 31 fields on their ballots. Once the nominations are

Where is Viper and Razor?

Hahaha.. Viper and Razor are 3 months old now and how much they have grown eversince. Viper is bigger than Razor though.. Maybe Viper is a big eater compared to Razor. Few days back,I found out that Viper started to shed skin. I was worried that there is something wrong with it and I went to the aquarium shop to ask whether it is normal for it to shed off skin. Fortunately, the aquarium shop owner said it was normal and it is an indicator that she is growing. Viper is a very naughty tortoise, yesterday I was looking at the aquarium and was surprised to see only one tortoise in the tank and I panicked for a moment there. So I searched around the table to see whether she has climbed out. Later did I know that she dropped into the back filter of the aquarium. Thank god I found that little rascal .. Hahaha.. Razor on the hand is the "Mr cool guy".. he is slow but not too slow... he is quiet but not that quiet.. Haha.. but he is more approachable, he won't run away when you feed him.. These tortoises have been my companion when I am alone at home and since mum do not allow me to keep puppies, this is the best 4 legged pet I could think of.. You Rox tortoises!!! Hahaha.. will update on their growth progress again soon...

Hi everyone, in this post I will be featuring another song for the month. This month I am featuring Taylor Swift 's Love Story. I like this song as the tune is catchy and the song brings a whole new breath to country music as it is not your typical country song where it makes you think of cowboys and deserts. This song is straightforward where it tells the story of Romeo and Juliet and how they have overcomed obstacles to be together. Like the silly things we do for love when we were young like how she penned in her song " We were both young when I first saw you".Vocal-wise, she managed to bring the song well although her vocals were not strong but not all singers with strong vocals can bring a song well. It also depends on what kind of song he/she is singing. Therefore, my comments for this song is simple; It's catchy, it's trendy and it's easy to listen. I was shocked to see how many times I replayed this song on my ipod.. 365 times and still counting.. For some weird reasons, I play this song everytime I workout at the gym which expains why it is 365 times.. Hahahaha.. I bet you'll like this song too if you listen to it. Country song is not bad at all.. Don't let the media influence you.. They never have much things to say about country singers .. Don't let them choose what you listen to, you choose what you want to listen ! Other great country singers ; Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler , Martina Bride and Rascal Flatts.

Transformation of my private space

Okay guys, as promised I will be posting some pictures of my new room... The room I have been working hard on.... Actually I thought of inserting the pictures of the new tv panel in my hall too but then I decided not to. I just wanna share this excitement and joy with you guys.. I hope you won't misinterpret in other ways. I am into interior designing , so tell me what you think of my ideas, if you can?...Since I can't study it as a course, I will have to make it as my pass time hobby.. Once again Happy Chinese New Year .. A New Year signifies a New beginning.. And what does a new room signifies? I wonder... What I have learnt throughout the process of renovating my house is that if you work really hard to achieve something, you will appreciate the fruits of your labour more than if it is given to you just like that.. In other words, Work hard to achieve your goal and don't be a dreamer..

Happy Chinese New Year 2009

Sorry for not updating this blog for ages.. Okay.. It has only been 2 weeks since I wrote my last entry but I seriously I have been very busy .. and I fell sick for two times in a month due to the stress.Good news is, Its all over!! Done with !! Hasta La Vista work!!! Hahaha.. Mum and I are quite satisfied with the end results of our hard labour.. So, first day of chinese new year like any other years before it will be paying a visit to grandma's [also a place where I get most of my ang paus ( Red packets which signifies good luck) ] and off we went to the Buddhist Vihara to pay homage to the Buddha and offering of robe to the monk. It has been a routine of me and my mum's since a few years back. I find the first day of Chinese New Year a very meaningful day as it is not only about collecting ang paus but also a day to perform one's religious duties. Then came the second day of Chinese New Year where mum had an open house, I only invited 4 of my friends whom I believe can make it for the open house and true enough all 4 of them turned up. The best thing was Michelle, Karam and me were reunited once again and I really miss those days we had during Biology classes back in our college days. Ryan and Steven came too.. Thanks for making it a meaningful day for me,guys.. :) Then came the third day when we went visiting other relatives.. Hahaha.. and today is the fourth day, and here I am updating my blog.. Fortunately, I ample time to do so.. Enjoy the pictures below and once again I would like to wish all of you a Happy Chinese New Year and may the year of the Ox brings you peace and good health..

How busy can someone be before CNY?

Well... One can be hell of a busy!! That's all I can say. Hahaha.. As you guys know, I have been busy painting the house and doing lotsa house chores lately. Can't be helped..as mum is busy working and the only person who can help her is me since I am the only child. So people out there, don't have the misinterpretation that being the only child and the only son is a bed of roses. However, I always try not to complain about the amount of commitment I have towards my family. I believe it is my duty to help lessen my mum's burden, nothing so special about it. As a matter of fact, it is the duty of all the sons and daughthers around the world..

I have been juggling between my personal and work schedule. Most of the time my work schedule will come first then followed by my personal schedule. So it's all paint and housework before going to the gym in the late evenings. Thank god I have a break today.. I am going to Genting Highlands in about 2 hours time.. Whee~! Sitting back and looking at the walls I have painted, I can't help but to feel proud. It's an achievement, like what Ryan said. Hopefully all my hard work will pay off for this coming Chinese New Year. Other preparations for Chinese New Year have been behind schedule. Atleast I have bought my New Year clothing and stuffs EXCEPT a pair of shoes.. Hahaha... and not to forget the festive cookies and delights, those are yet to be bought. Hmm.. mandarin oranges ... No.. haven't... Argghhh basically I have been too absorbed with my painting that I have forgotten about other things.. Nevermind, there's still a week left to go.. I can manage it, I hope.

Oo yeah, on the 13th was my aunt's 50th birthday. This year I have decided to get her something very special, something that will remind her of her nephew wherever she goes. I got her a watch and I engraved something behind it. She was surprised to receive the gift and the look on her face when she found out that it was a watch was priceless! Once again, Happy Birthday aunt and I wish you a smooth sailing year ahead of you. One more thing before I forget, after gym the other day, Ryan and I went to Winter Warmers to have a special drink. He told me it was a special drink which one cannot find in the menu. It was a cocktail concoction made with fruit punch and a dash of liquor. It tasted great! Hahaha.. this fellow has been my gym buddy and we have been going to the gym together quite frequently. One thing I have to admit, he is a great pal and I am really happy to have met such a cool guy!

Updates on painting and Renovations..

As stated before, I have been busy with painting and house stuffs for the coming Chinese New Year. It has been 3.5 years since we had our last renovation or made any changes in the house. I am quite excited though. Yesterday, the designer sent me the artist's impression of my upcoming room,my living hall and the extra cabinet for the store room. For my room, it's the addition of a tv panel and a display unit. Very excited about it too..My collection of cars will be well kept in the display unit and not to forget my trophies too..* atleast I don't have to wipe them every week * hehehe..Well it didn't come easily though, I had to withdraw my own savings to pay for it and it is also the reason why I ended up painting rather than someonelse doing it for me. Not to forget mum's aid both financially and contributing her time to help me out in the painting jobs... Nothing come easily and you have to work hard for it. Fortunately, I look at it from a good point of view and I rather work hard for it than getting it just like that..Atleast I will appreciate it more. I have also stated before that I hated painting and I still do....Argghhh.. shoot the stench of thinner... Although I painted the kitchen alone and spent almost 9 hours there, I still hated painting.. Had a slight fatigue back then because I was working non-stop for 5 hours!!..What took me so long? It's because I had to climb up and down the cabinets to paint the top part and the small gaps in between.*Like a monkey* BUT I was satisfied with the outcome and it is quite rewarding when I look at it once in a while... Next destination, mum's room and the guest room... Painting again :S.. How much I dread thee~!

The kitchen looks so cheerful now.. Hopefully mum will cook even more delicious food with such a cheerful environment.. :)

*Sigh of relieve*.. Thank god it's out at last!! This will be Fish Leong's 10th album and I can't wait to get my hands on it... I have been collecting her albums since dunno when and I am very proud of her that she has finally made it to her 10th album which also mean that she has been in the business for 10 years + now... Bravo Fish Leong!!! Okay, I admit I am a 'banana'- a person whom don't understand mandarin and from time to time I don't really understand what she is singing due to my low proficiency in the language * don't laugh, I'll bite* but I do like her songs because most of her ballads are soothing and I do take the effort to find out what she is singing and most of the lyrics in her songs are very meaningful. She is known as the ballad queen and I don't find it hard to understand why.. The

good news is that her latest album " Fall In Love and Songs" will be out on the

16th of January.. That's like less than a month from now...

I can't wait.. I just can't... Hahahahahaha..

Of Paint Brushes and Renovations..

Chinese New Year is approaching and here I am in my house taking a day off from painting.. Seriously, I really dislike painting judging from the amount of cleaning you have to do and the precision of painting when it comes to the sides and small corners. On top of that, my house is filled with the smell of paint. Mum and I bought the Nippon Odourless paint which was odourless.. Unfortunately, we bought the undercoat paint which stinked to the max overpowering the odourless paint. I told mum " Ma, what's the use of buying that odourless paint when the undercoat stinks like hell..It's like fighting fire with paper"and I have to sleep with the smell for 2 nights now. I am opening the windows of my room in hopes that the smell will go away. Guys out there, any advise on how to eliminate the smell of kerosene/thinner? Hmm... Despite all the complaints about painting the house, I am quite excited to see the end result this coming Chinese New Year as my room will be undergoing some minor renovations. I am adding more bookshelves and a TV panel and not to forget a TV Panel for my hall as well.. There goes my trip to Australia.. Hahaha.. but I rather sacrifice it for the sake of my house...When everything is done, I am more than happy enough to show you guys the BEFORE and AFTER renovation pictures.

Oo yeah.. On New Year's Day, I went out with mum to Ikano AGAIN to have our lunch.. We had our lunch in this Nyonya restaurant. Highly recommend it though. The food was great and the price was reasonable and not to mention, great presentation. I was expecting it to taste like how a wannabe Nyonya restaurant would serve but it turned out to be great! So, don't say I didn't share great places to dine out with you guys, eh? XD

BEST EXPERIENCES OF 2008....

1. Worked in Expro Group and learnt lots of stuffs about the working world.

2. Met great colleagues as well who helped me throughout my working days there such as Alie, Ivy and Daisy.

3. Got straight As for my A Levels.

4. Managed to qualify myself to attend the interview by Sime Darby Group. I made it to the final round. Although I didn't get the scholarship but I was happy to be given the chance to attend the interview. It was the experience that counts the most.

5. Bought myself a laptop, camera and psp using my own salary. Atleast I can proudly claim that I bought them myself.

6. Got an entry into Monash University. Met great friends such as Galvin and Steven.

7. Got a Samsung OMNIA for birthday.

8. Had 4 different celebrations with 4 different groups of people. Outta 4, 1 was a surprise party.

9. Met a special friend and kor.

10. Went to Langkawi and had a great time there.

11. Got satisfactory results for my first term.

12. Got another surprise for Christmas from Ryan. Thanks..

9 RESOLUTIONS FOR 2009

1. I want to get in touch with my religious side. I think am losing touch of it due to my tight schedule. I should be visiting viharas more often where I will be able to find my inner peace through meditation.

2. Do well in my exams.. I need to get good grades to maintain my scholarship.

3. Be a more firm person, don't easily give in. Try not to be a yes man or too obliged.

4. Ear piercing perhaps? I wanted to do this a long time ago.. Hmm.. will I do it this year?? We'll see..

5. Make new friends and find TRUE friends.

6. Be a more active blogger. I hope my blog won't be neglected when my break ends.

7. Be a more calm and tolerant person. Trying to be a better role model.

8. Treat my loved ones better. Especially my MUM and people special to me.

9. Have a great year ahead.. Avoid making mistakes and making right choices.. and last but not least, have the greatest 21st birthday party ever!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 !!!!!!

~ WE WELCOME THE YEAR OF THE OX ~

Took this picture with Galvin when the clock struck 12 O'Clock... We were standing at the mini square in between The Curve and Cineleisure... Everyone was busy spraying foam/confetti on each other and shouting Happy New Year !!! The feeling was great.. But.. for the first time in my life, I started to think a lot.. While everyone was shouting, I was thinking of whatever I have done for the year 2008. Reflecting on the mistakes and righteous deeds that I have commited.. I guess I start to think more maturely now and have the understanding that New Year is not all about celebrations alone but it is also a time to reflect and think of ways on how to begin a new chapter of your life...

So, I started to watch the fireworks display.. While I look at the beauty of the colours and patterns being splashed onto a dark night's sky, I can't help but feeling relieved that I have made it another year.. We always complain that life is difficult.. It's true.. but have you ever thought that the every second you complaint, you are also living another second longer. Basically, it is how you look at life..

This was taken before it became a gigantic star.. * I know I have done many mistakes in life.. I asked myself whether what I am doing now is a mistake? Is doing something that you like a crime?.. It's not like I have break the rules or anything.. I am just being myself.. But the problem is.. being yourself sometimes mean that you have to go against other's will.. Make the right decision, Victor.. Only you know yourself best!* I was troubled that moment but I was also embracing it...

This was before the finale.. The skies were lit by the brightness of the fireworks display when it bloomed.. * Maybe whatever I am doing now is the right thing.. Something that will not only make me happy but also light my way to a happier life *

This was the best shot I managed to take before the red flower blossomed ... * You need to make an effort Victor orelse whatever you've done will all go to waste and you won't be able to rip the fruits of your labour *- I wish that my loved ones ( Family, Partner and Friends) be safe and happy always...

This was how the road sandwiched by Ikano and The Curve looked like that night. It was flooded with people of all races and backgrounds. One thing they had in common, all of them were there to have fun and have the best experience of their lives. It was nice to see how people of different races get together and have fun. This is how Malaysia should be like and this is how we should act as well in developing our country; Not during celebrations alone...

The stage where popular Malaysian artistes came to sing and countdown to the new year.. Only god knows how many people were there that night. This was taken 30 minutes after midnight and there were still many behind me not to mention those lingering around in other places.. but the excitement was still there and everyone was still dancing away and spraying foam on each other. The sight of it made me smile. I even thought of buying a box of those sprays and start spraying on those who sprayed me... But damn!! I couldn't find the vendor.. Haha.. Ryan came and he was the one accompanying me while I took these pictures. Its always nice to capture moments where people are having fun.

Since we lost the Galvin's groupof friends, Ryan and I decided to chillout at The Apartment. We had Peach and Strawberry Pavlova for dessert... Hahaha.. something funny happened when we were there.. Someone kissed my hand.. It was a girl whom I didn't know.. Basically, there was this group of 'kids' I call them.. playing a game and it so happened that this girl lost and the punishment was to wish me a Happy New Year and kiss my hand.. Hahaha.. I stoned there for a moment.. I can't take surprises well you know.. It takes a second or two before the information kicks into my brains.. Slow reaction I suppose.. I wished them a Happy New Year and we toasted.

This is what we had for cocktail... Sex on the beach... Although it was only me and Ryan , I was beginning to enjoy my stay there as I started to find my inner peace.. but Mr Ryan must ruin it by asking me countless times why I was so quiet that night...He told me that people should be excited during New Years.. I was happy... Really happy as a matter of fact.. It is just that I was expressing it in a different way.. But now come to think of it, after all the reflecting I was sad for a moment there.. Anyway, it was a great chillout place although I had a little boy next to me keep asking me questions and the group at the back of me laughing and shouting while they continued playing their game.. Yet, I managed to find my inner peace.. How? I wonder...

And this is how Ikano looked like after the celebrations.. A massive rubbish dump!! Hahahaa... Happy New Year everyone..!!! I hope you too had a great New Year's Eve !

Primary School Reunion

On 29/12/2008, I attended a reunion lunch with my primary schoolmates from SK Jalan Air Panas. Imagine after 8 years of not seeing each other and then there we were again after 8 years having lunch together. It was really a memorable day as I was able to meet up with my friends back in the olden days.. I still remember when I was in primary school, we used to get crazy over Digimon battles, PS1, Scratch and Win games@ Tikam, Board games, Fish Satay and interactive games such as "Kala Jengking"/"Kejar-Kejar" and etc... I remember the funny moments I had such as Digimon fighting with Ernest, Kavia and Lian Michael... Played "Kejar-Kejar" with Pei Gee with me holding a broom while she was holding a long ruler.. Made Yvonne cry and felt really bad about it... Sat at the pondok with Poh Chin Hong and Eric to have a group study.. Fought with a kid until his mum came to confront me ( I was dead scared that time).. and many many more.. Awwww.. those sweet memories....

Anyway back to the lunch, we had at Marco's Pizza Place, Bangsar Village. The guys got macho-er and the girls were prettier.. Hahaha.. Not being a pervert here, but I was really excited to see them. Danny Gan( My ex-classmate) was the organiser and everyone enjoyed themselves and we kept updating each other with our current status and what course we are currently doing now. Faces that I didn't expect to see that day(to name a few) were Simerdeep( The smart and friendly girl who had good handwriting), Ernest Yong ( The dragon boy cum gadget kid), Angela, Komathi, Shak and many more... Not to forget friends whom I do keep in touch occassionally such as Jackie, Frank and Cheong Leong.. and also unimates now with Wai Loon and Yvonne Liew... I have tonnes of pictures to share with you guys and I don't know why I have acquired the habit of not writing too much in my blog. Perhaps, I am getting lazier or I think I just want the pictures to do the explaining. No matter what the reason is, It was a memorable day and I hope to share it with you guys.. !

Christmas Eve Party @ My Place

It was an enjoyable night I can say... With the right company and ambience, what more could you ask for a Christmas Eve Party? Thanks to mum for permitting me to organise this mini party. Initially, it was to be held at Sheow Pin's place and it was supposed to be Sheow Pin's Christmas Eve Party. So, I blocked that particular date for her event. Unfortunately, the whole plan was cancelled and they proposed to have it at my place instead but due to some complications, it didn't turn out to be a Monashians Christmas Eve Party. Therefore, I decided to give it my own touch and decided to invite my friends right away. I didn't invite many people though. The 18 people who attended were my close friends and my beloved family. Anyway, I am glad it turned out well.. With roast chicken, Malaysian delicacies, Cocktails and Wine served that night, it was really a feastful Christmas Eve. In addition to that, it was my first time organising a Christmas Eve Party and I hope everyone who attended enjoyed themself because I know I enjoyed myself!!! O yeah I was surprised, I got a Camera for Christmas!!! Imagine that!!!! It was given to me to replace the camera I lost during the Langakawi Trip recently. Thanks a lot Ryan!!! Although I have told him before that he can take his time to buy that camera..but nvm... The most important point is that I really appreciate it and thank you for making my Christmas Eve a meaningful one. Whenever I lose something I don't expect it to be returned to me or atleast not that soon but you really surprised me.. :) and thanks to everyone who brought those delicious food and made this party a successful one...Thanks to hammy for the bowl of nuggets.. I can't have enough of those, for some weird reasons... All in all it was a great night and below are some of the great moments I managed to capture... Once again MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!

A Sweet Christmas Memory of DominicVick's~

Eve of Christmas Eve @ KL Lookout Point.

Oneday, my kor @ pet bro sms-ed me to ask me whether I was free on the 24th or the 25th.. I told him I won't be free on either days as I will be having my christmas eve party at home.. So he asked me again whether I was free on the 23rd... Then after checking my schedule, I found out that I was free for the day. So I replied him that I will be free on that date and he replied me back saying that he will take me somewhere special to celebrate Christmas but didn't want to reveal the location. I was puzzled to where he will bring me.. Of course I didn't think of the worst thing that could happen to me because I trust him .. but I was still wondering where on earth will he bring me to for a Christmas Dinner?

So on the 23rd he drove me to some place far away from KL. It took us approximately 45 minutes to reach the place and later did I realise how special that place was. It was actually a dining area with restaurants overlooking the city of Kuala Lumpur and it was called KL Lookout Point. It reminded me of the Victoria Peak( correct me if I am wrong) I visited when I was in Hong Kong few years back. The difference was Victoria Peak didn't have any restaurants while KL Lookout Point had. However, to our dismay the place was fully packed! So it took us a while before we found a carpark spot.. He took me to a Western Food restaurant.. The food was just average to me( "special sizzling chicken" for myself and "BBQ sizzling chicken" for him) but the view was breath-taking and I will never forget my experience of celebrating Christmas in this special place. Thanks a lot kor for the great company, dinner and not to forget the Zara Shirt you got me for Christmas.. The only thing I can say here is that I truly appreciate the care and guidance you have given to me and I hope to treat you back someday when I start to work or when I am able to. :-).. Anyway, below are some of the pictures I managed to take during my stay there...

I would like to take this opportunity to wish this friend of mine a HAPPY BIRTHDAY.. Alicia Ng/Ling. Also known as the FFK queen or to put it in lay man's terms, " A person who doesn't turn up for most of the outings".. It has been 2 1/2 years by now since we first met and became friends.. and despite being the annoying FFK queen she was and the FFK queen she will always be.. She was also the one whom I told my personal stuffs to when I was in college.. She was a good listener and most of the time she gave good advises.. Anyway, put the "not turning up for outings" aside... all in all it was a great experience knowing you.. Friends forever... Ahemzz..

Back to the main topic.. I was invited to celebrate her birthday @ Italiannies, The Curve on the 22nd of December which was her birthday as well.. Then we proceeded to Laundry for a casual drink.. It was a great night and I am glad she enjoyed it..!

The title says it all.. I hate baking..! I dislike baking..! I am against baking..! BUT I baked for the first time in my life!! Hahaha.. how ironic.. This year I thought of doing something different as I have decided to bake cookies for my guests whom will be attending my Christmas Eve Party this coming Wednesday. I consider it as a christmas gift for everyone who will be attending my party. The amount of effort I have put into making these cookies will justify how precious these cookies argh.. *Over exaggerating- as usual*.. I don't really like baking because the amount of washing that you have to do is abundant as compared to cooking.. Even now.. Or should I say, ESPECIALLY NOW.. I am officially staying away from baking cookies.. I spent 3-4 hours baking these cookies and I only managed to sleep at 4 am in the morning.. Hahahah.. Talk about enthusiasm..! but the whole process was really fun!!! Anyway, I wouldn't want to talk much about it, so enjoy the pictures below... O yeah, it's Chocolate Almond Cookies.. :) Despite baking for the first time, the outcome was above satisfactory... Mum said " Not bad for a first timer!"..

Movie Premiere of "Australia"

18/12/2008 ~ Went to Pavillion to watch the movie premiere (or should I call it a sneak preview??) of "Australia" starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. Nicole Kidman was raised in Australia whilst Hugh Jackman was an Australian. Oh yeah, I would like to thank Brandon Marshmallow XD for being so generous to invite me and my hammy to watch the premiere. The combination of that little boy and my dear to watch the movie has made it such a great experience filled with laughther and joy. I first got to know him when I taught him in form 1. He is no longer a small boy now..He was teaching me the best way to drink a glass of wine. Hahhaaha.. You cannot help but to admit that you are getting older eventhough how much you don't want to acknowledge it. All in all the movie was great. If I were to rate the movie I will give it a 7 out of 10. I read reviews on Nicole's bad acting in this movie but she wasn't that bad at all in this movie. In fact, she did quite a good job playing the role as an English Woman. In addition to that, the movie which was directed by Baz Lurhmann did bring out the true essence of Australia as one will be able to experience the wilderness and the extreme environment of the continent which is isolated far away at the Southern Hemisphere.

The movie also described how the aborigines were suppressed and mistreated by the "European Immigrants" . Something that I have heard before in my Environmental Science class last semester with Dr Cathy Yule and she was an Australian-Caucasian herself. The ending was a very touching one where it stated that Australia is the homeland of the aborigines and the European settlers..I really enjoyed the movie although I was terribly hungry during the movie as I didn't have my dinner before the movie as I was rushing to Pavillion and thank god I reached there right on time!!! Well, in this entry I won't be writing much but I would like to introduce to you guys the latest thumbnails I have created to spice up my blog. The old ones were great but they just didn't suit my blog that well.. Therefore, I have created a new line of thumbnails with more categories this time. I realised that the thumbnails before this were too limited and it didn't represent some of the entries I have posted. With greater diversity in categories, now I am able to categorise them accordingly without any doubt.

All in all it was a great night!! My girl enjoyed herself and I am glad she did.. It has been 2 1/2 years now.. and after tonight, I felt something very different about her today.. I felt that I want to be there to protect her fragile soul and bring nothing but happiness to her..It's not that I didn't want to protect her and bring happiness to her before this.. It's just that the feeling was slightly different tonight.. Maybe more Intense.. I really don't want to hurt her and I hope I won't do it in near future.. I just hope I won't.... Once again... Happy Birthday Dear!!! You are 18 now.. It's time to be mature and start to think for yourself.. I mean I won't be there with you all the time but I am watching your back all the time,guiding you through the journey of your life.. No matter what happens.. I just want you to know that my love for you throughout these years have been true and sincere..
