My Carnival Ride~

What a wonderful day it is... Today I went to The Gardens with my mum.. At first, she didn't want to go there in fear that they will be a lot of people.. However, I succeded in persuading her by telling her the last time I went to The Gardens there were very few people doing their shopping there. Well, I had a motive going there though... The last time I went to the Rock Corner@ The Gardens they told me that Carrie Underwood's latest album " Carnival Ride" will arrive around this week and I was quite anxious to get her album after a long wait of 2 years eversince her first album " Some Hearts" was released.. Well, back to my story... So, Mum and me arrived at The Gardens and I was surprised to see so many people there walking around window-shopping! Lolx.. The things are pretty expensive there ranging from branded clothes to expensive fine dining restaurants.. Mum was kind of annoyed because she wanted to go somewhere quiet and told me that I succeeded in "tricking" her there... Hehe.. Honestly, I didn't know the popularity of The Gardens will catch up...

Immediately, I went to the third floor to Rock Corner .. At first, I wasn't that convinced that the album will arrive because I went hunting for that CD from shop to shop since last week.. The only reply I got was " I am not sure" , " I dunno" "Maybe a month later..before Christmas" and the worst of the lot was " We don't have that but we have the first album.. Interested?".. I was thinking to myself " Why would I want her old album when I am looking for the latest one"... So I entered the shop hoping that miracle will happen.. Firstly, I went to the "Latest Release" rack to check whether her album was there.. but to my dismay it wasn't there or maybe I didn't check throughly enough.. So I went to the counter and asked the salesguy and Miracle did happen!!!.. He said " Ya, we have it.. It's just there at the latest release section".. Haha.. Now I was confused where exactly was the " New Release" section was.. but that didn't bother me much.. My face changed instantly and I happily walked there and there it was.. CARNIVAL RIDE~CARRIE UNDERWOOD... I was so happy and made the payment a.s.a.p.. Finally, I got what I wanted... Hehe.. Mum and myself had lunch in Purple Cane Tea House Restaurant.. My first impression was the food there will taste horrible and tasteless because of they said every meal was cooked with tea and I was thinking about those traditional chinese health food which involved the usage of chinese herbs and etc.. But hey!!! It tasted fantastic.. Firstly, they didn't use much oil and yet it was tasty.. Mum and myself really had a great meal that afternoon.. So, I went back home popped the CD into my Cd player and started listening to Carnival Ride.. I realised that Carrie's latest album is more modern-country sounding and the selections of songs are great.. In other words, the producers for this album did their homework.. So Out of 10 I will rate this album an outstanding 9.5.
