TGIF( Thank God It's Friday!!!)

Okay.. the end of the week is here.. Thankfully, we didn't have lab classes on the first week of Uni and that resulted in a holiday for us.. Actually, my first week in University was a hectic one. I had to attend boring lectures and had to rush to settle everything ranging from payments, registrations and even printing of my lecture notes since they were not provided to us. This is how independent you have to be when you are in University.. Thank god I was properly trained by HELP during my A Levels.. Anyway, despite being a hectic week.. It was pleasant at certain times.. I met many new friends and reunited with old ones too.. not to forget, the lecturers were okay.. Cannot classify them as friendly because they are not but they are okay I guess. On the first day of University, I thought it would be those normal introduction slides and etc.. To my surprise, they started teaching or should I say LECTURING...!!!! Although each lecture is 1 hour which is considered short but judging from what we had to listen in the lecture theatre... It is torturous.. Biology was more of repetition of what we've learnt in A Levels.. Chem was a little difficult where they started introducing new stuffs which we didn't touch in A Levels.. Statistics was Okay and Environmental Science was surprisingly interesting... Maybe it is due to the fact that I enjoy learning about the environment.. The lecturer for this subject for this week was Dr Joe Samy.. Ok.. at first I thought it was funny and after his lecture I changed my perception towards him.. He may be a typical Malaysian but I can sense he is a very nice person and an informative one too..I don't mind him teaching us but I am predicting Dr Catherine Yule will be a more proactive and fun lecturer when she returns.. The rest.. hm... Dr Chow was a serious and informative person..but a bit too serious... For Chem.. Dr Emily Goh was a sweet looking young lady whom is very good in her field.. and for Statistics.. Dr TH Chua reminds me of Mr Philip Loh.. Its just that he is a little less approachable.. but these are just my first impressions towards them.. They might be even nicer people when I get to know them better.. I'll let time to do its job..

So.. today was friday.. I decided to go back to HELP to get my A Levels cert and LAN cert... Unfortunately, I woke up late.. I woke up at 10.45 am.. I felt really sorry because Mei Jean had to wait 2 hours for me.. Mei Jean, if you are reading this.. I can't explain how sorry I felt.. This is because I don't like waiting and I made her wait..!!! Once again, my apologies... So Mei Jean and I went to photocopy our certs and verified them.. While doing that I met up with Kevin.. This fellow was damn talkative.. I can sense that he was trying to disturb the coordinator(where the coordinator was a girl!!)..He was asking her which Uni to enter and her opinions about the Uni..which were none of her concern... haha..and the coordinator was bearing with him ... I guess she would have shouted earlier if he was her brother or something.. Then we visited Mr Ronnie and as usual, MJ and I disturbed him.. We were surprised that one of the lecturer in Monash is Mr Ronnie's ex-lecturer.. he was Dr Quah.. and he will be teaching me Biotechnology around next year or the year after that.. Haha.. my lecturer's ex-lecturer is going to teach me.. How Interesting.. The more I roamed around HELP.. I can't help but missing the place.. That was the place where I met many friends and fooled around..not to forget strained my brains.. anyway, everything has an ending.. I hope to go back there someday.. Maybe as a lecturer.. who knows?? XD

Then we went to Bangsar Village.. Err.. had fish and chips with Mei Jean while waiting for Aminda. She finally arrived and we continued our conversation.. Then Aminda took us around Bangsar and she went Stationery shopping.. we were like " Isn't there stationery shops in Indonesia??... Aminda, you are trying to make Indonesia sound like some village country"... Hahaha.. basically she was choosing those stationeries like how a girl chooses her clothes in a boutique during Mega Sales.. Hahaha.. Then Aminda, MJ and me went walking around the area and left the placeb after few rounds.. Aminda is leaving for Indonesia by August.. Basically, I felt kinda left behind as everyone was going overseas and they may not come back after that because they will be working there by then.. Nevertheless, I was happy for them.. just felt a little left behind.. hahaha.. I am gonna miss her too.. the hyper shopaholic girl...but no matter who you are, you know we love you,Aminda..

Then went back home.. Mum insisted that I took her out for Pasar Malam.. Sometimes my mum can be kinda cute coz she acts like a little kid.. She will show all kind of faces if I don't do what she says like how a small kid reacts when you don't give him/her what she wants.. hehe.. so I took her out and it was jamned around the area.. So I decided to take her to a hawker centre to buy her dinner.. Hehe..Mums will be mums.. you can't live without them.. especially for my case.. coz you love them too much..and of course, without my mum there wouldn't be me.. ;) Then I fetched dear from her house... We started off with a silent conversation using hand gestures.. OMG... and then she couldn't take it anymore and starting talking.. when she started talking she started telling me about her college life.. Haha.. It is a miracle to see her being a quiet person in front of her schoolmates but so noisy in front of me.. I find it cute and entertaining.. :) Then we met up with Lynnett and whatelse... we had our dinner lor.. ate and ate and ate.. and ate even more.. As promised I treated Lynnett her Oreo tiramisu.. I found this "Molecule Coffee" amusing as it is a foam version of coffee where it doesn't spill out when you invert the cup.. So being the curious me, I ordered that.. It was RM 10.00 and when the thing came.. I was bloody shocked to see that it is damn small.. I soon realised it was expresso and the portion for most expressos or should I say ALL Expressos are small.. but.. RM 10.00 for that was ridiculous..After that as usual Cam-whoring there and we walked around.. It was fun meeting up with my sunshine and my bimbotic yet lovable friend.. You gals rock.. and here I am writing this.. The pictures that we managed to take are displayed above..
