MY BEST TRIP EVER TO PULAU LANGKAWI!!!! WOOHOO!!
I had the best time of my life in Langkawi because for the first time... Let me repeat myself... FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!! I got to go to somewhere alone with a friend where I had to be independent without the watchful eyes of my mum.. Well, its not that I am complaining about my mum.. As a matter of fact, I like her being around wherever I go because for one thing she is my one and only beloved parent and secondly she is my walking bank.. Hahahaha.. Just joking.. If you happen to read this mum, don't punish me yea?? Hahahaha.. I know you won't!!
Anyway, I went to Langkawi with Ryan.. He is one of the coolest friend I have met in the shortest period of time. And not to mention, we planned this trip in just 3 days!!! So we went to LCCT to board the Air Asia plane to Langkawi. Once we reached there, we checked-in to our hotel room @ Langkasuka Hotel but the rooms were not ready that time. So we decided to chillout at the beach.. The sun was blazing hot that day and the white sandy beach reflected the light emitted by the sun and made the beach look so bright that I had to squint my eyes.. After an hour or so, there was still not a single call from the reception; as usual... So, I decided to rush them a little and to our surprise the room was ready.. Then, it was the usual checking into the room procedures. We were amazed by how spacious the room was..Imagine a room with a hall and a large bed room.. A bathroom with a large bath tub.. It was like a studio apartment!!... Actually it was Ryan whom decided to book the Deluxe Suite and a suite we had!!! Right after that we rushed to the hotel lobby to register ourselves for the one day tour around the island. We went to several places such as the Underwater World, The Eagle Square, The Batik Factory and Kuah Town where we bought many chocolates and liquor. When we reached back to our hotel, we were dead hungry. So, we decided to dine at one of the restaurants there. Other than the romantic ambience which was not applicable to both of us; everything tasted just average to me.. The fish and chips really had a strong fishy smell and my glass of mocktail was still okay.. In fact, it was the best thing I tasted for the night. Ryan treated me dinner that night..O yeah, didn't I mention that we met this lovely couple which we made friends with during our one day trip?. They were the most loving couple I have ever seen and they were also very friendly to us.. They actually invited us for a drink at the beach.. Drank 7 full glasses of wine and I was down... Fortunately, Ryan was there to take care of this big kid of me..That is why I've said.. he is really a good friend.. Thanks man!
On the next day, we went to Kuah Town again and we explored every duty-free shop that was in the town... Comparing the prices and buying some chocolates as well.. I managed to get myself a bottle of Gorgio Armani perfume and I really liked it..We even had Rojak...hahahaha.. That evening, I decided to give Ryan a treat for dinner..So we packed cakes, noodles and other dishes from the town and brought it back into our room where we had a great time eating while watching the television.. Really a great bachelor's trip I can say..I had a slight fever that night, and thank god he brought panadols.. Well, this is what friends do when they have trips together;to take care of one another.. :) The next day we went to the beach eventhough it was drizzling.. but that didn't stop us from having fun.. Haha.... and we thought we saw a couple making out at the beach.. Anyway, we extended our checked out time because our flight back home was around 5.30 pm.. We reached the airport at 3.30 pm via a limousine. At first, we thought it was just a plain old Proton Waja or something along those lines but it was really a Mercedez Benz .. we were imagining ourselves as VIPS on the way to the airport although it was just a 5-7 minutes ride..XD.. Ryan shopped at the airport and lets not talk about something he bought.. We had a slight argument because of that.. It's not his fault anyway, he was just being nice.. It's just that Ryan is really a person whom is obliged to buy anything when persuaded by the sales person.. I felt that he shouldn't have purchase it as he didn't have the need of it.. But it's over and done with.. :)
So we reached KL and that was when the trouble started.. You might be wondering why I didn't post any of the pictures of my trip here right? It's because I lost my camera (which I bought using my own salary.. sobzz).. But it's okay.. Accident happens and I can't prevent it from happening... Maybe its god's will that I should donate the camera to someone who really needs it.. So sorry guys that I couldn't post the pictures here although I managed to capture many of them.. Despite losing the camera along with the memories captured by it, the memories and fun I had will never fade away from my mind..too bad I can't illustrate them using pictures but I hope my story here did give you guys a rough picture of what we did there... Ryan, thanks for being such a great friend and I hope to organise another trip with you again...
